Calpion Completes Annual SOC 2 Re-certification

Calpion is excited to announce that it has passed Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 Annual Re-certification. This achievement demonstrates Calpion's ability to securely manage and constantly protect its customers' data and privacy.
The approval process certified that all of Calpion's delivery centers, along with its technology solutions, meet the information security practices, policies, procedures, and controls standards defined by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Calpion's SOC 2 Type 2 report was issued by an independent CPA firm. During the examination, the independent auditors evaluated and tested controls over the following domains:

- Monitoring Activities
- Control Activities
- Logical and Physical access controls
- System operations
- Change management
- Additional Criteria for Availability
- Processing Integrity

SOC 2® engagements are performed per the American Institute of CPA's (AICPA) reporting on controls at a services organization and based on the trust service principles relevant to Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, confidentiality, or Privacy outlined in the AICPA guidelines. An independent auditing firm performs the SOC 2® Type 2 report. It is intended to provide an understanding of the service organization's suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of its internal controls.
